Project Background

An electrical EPC contractor required cable-cleating components for three single-core medium-voltage cables installed along a cable-support system.

The cables needed to be securely maintained in a trefoil arrangement while allowing for an orderly and practical installation inside the cable gallery.

Customer Requirements

Cable outer diameter, cleat spacing, support dimensions and installation conditions all needed to be considered before selecting the appropriate cleat configuration.

Material, fastening method and mounting dimensions were reviewed to ensure that each cleat enclosed the three cables in the required triangular configuration.
